How do I create a new Subscription card?

As an admin you can create a new subscription card in the Zevoy Hub.
If you're a cardholder, please request a new subscription card from your manager or an Admin user.

  1. In the Hub, go to the Cards page and and from there to the Subscriptions tab.

  2. To create a new subscription, click + New Card.

  3. Choose a cardholder (each card must have a named cardholder).

  4. Make sure that the card type is set as Subscription.

  5. Add a name to the card - this could be e.g. the name of the service.

  6. Feel free to change the card color. Having different colors for your Subscriptions cards makes them easier to differentiate from each other.

  7. Set the purchase limits.

  8. Click Create card.

The cardholder will immediately be notified by the Zevoy app that the card is ready for use, and they can now add the card details to the service.

Strong Authentication (3DS) for subscriptions

When a Subscription card is linked to a provider/merchant for the first time, the cardholder will need to complete a Strong Customer Authentication (3D Secure) check to verify the card or confirm the initial purchase. Once this first authentication is approved, the service is authorized for recurring billing. All future automatic payments for that subscription will go through seamlessly without requiring any further confirmation or manual approvals. Please note, however, that certain merchants may occasionally request an additional confirmation at a later date due to their own security protocols, which is a merchant-specific practice outside of Zevoy's control.

Set default values to your cards

Set a category, VAT rate, description, and tags behind cards.

  1. Open the card details by clicking it.

  2. Here you'll be able to set:

    • Default category & VAT rate.

    • Default description.

    • Default tags. Note that there's no limit to how many default tags you can set.

  3. Save!

When a transaction is made with the card in question, the default values are automatically set to the expense. All the user has to do, is to upload the receipt and submit.

See instructions here on how to change the owner of a subscription card.
