What are Hub roles?

Everything you need to know about Hub roles and how to assign them.

Hub roles allow certain permissions to Zevoy users. We provide a series of roles that can be assigned to different users in your organization. Please note, users can have more than one assigned role.

The Hub roles available in Zevoy:

The Employee role is automatically assigned to any user with a Zevoy company card. Employee users are able to access a restricted version of the Hub. More information about what employees can do in the Hub here. Users with this role are able to create claims. You can have users with the Employee role without cards.

Admins have full access to all features in Zevoy. Users with this role can access their company’s Hub and perform different tasks. Admins can approve and reject expenses, generate Exports, invite users and order new cards, set card-specific limits, and manage their company’s Hub settings.

Bookkeepers have limited access to the Zevoy Hub. They have access to all accounting settings, managing expenses, and are able to handle your exports. They cannot manage cards, invite users, or edit company settings.

Users with only the Bookkeeper role are free or charge and when you invite one they cannot order a card. However, Bookkeepers can have a card if an Admin orders them one. If a card is ordered for a Bookkeeper, the user is considered an Employee, and is therefore billable.

The Owner role is automatically assigned to whoever signs the company’s business invite. An Owner is someone with signatory rights within the company. They have access to the Hub, however, they don’t have the permissions to perform Hub tasks. Owners are able to send credit limit increase requests through the Hub.

Please note that only Owners can add and remove other Owners.

How to assign Hub roles:

Once a user has been invited (read about inviting new users here) and they’ve verified their identity, an Admin can assign them a Hub role.
