How do I freeze and close cards?

Everything you need to know about freezing and closing Zevoy cards.

There are several reasons why you might need to freeze or close a Zevoy card. If an employee has lost their card we recommend freezing it until you are sure the card is lost for good. A card can be frozen from the Zevoy App or from the Hub by an Admin. The user will not be able to perform any payments with the card, while it's frozen.

An Admin can permanently close a card if it has been for example stolen. A closed card can no longer be used and cannot be reopened. Read more on how to order new cards here.


How to freeze or close cards from the Hub: 

  1. Head over to Cards.
  2. Open the desired card.
  3. To freeze the card select the Freeze card button. 
  4. To permanently close the card click Close card. Please note that closing a card can't be reversed. 

How to freeze a card from the Zevoy App:

  1. Open the App. 
  2. Head over to My Card. 
  3. Press Freeze and verify the request. 
    Press De-frost to start using your card again.
