Netvisor integration instructions

We're happy to offer a direct integration to Netvisor. After set up, expenses are seamlessly exported directly from Zevoy to Netvisor.

Updated this week

Set up your accounts and tax codes in the Zevoy Hub

In the Zevoy Hub under Settings, head over to the Accounting tab:

  1. Add your accounts and make sure they match your accounts in Netvisor. Read more here on how to add ledger accounts.

  2. Add your ingoing and outgoing VAT accounts.
In Netvisor, the ingoing account no. is usually 1763, and outgoing account is no. 2939.

  3. Make sure that your tax codes are correctly added. Remember to set the tax code type: reverse or standard.
The most common Netvisor tax codes are KOOS for domestic VAT, and EUOS for reversed EU VAT. More information regarding Netvisor's tax codes can be found here (FI).

Standard VAT: VAT that is included in the price of your purchase, and refunded later.

Reverse VAT: In some cases (for example when purchasing marketing services outside of your own country but within the EU), the purchase amount doesn't include the VAT. Instead it's paid and refunded separately in your own country. In Netvisor, the ingoing account no. is usually 1763, and outgoing account is no. 2939.

Create your categories and tags

Adding your accounting information to Zevoy will allow you to create categories that link your expenses to your ledger accounts and tax codes. Once you've added your accounts and tax codes, create categories from which cardholders can choose from when making purchases. Be sure that all expenses have a category assigned to them before exporting your expenses.

After that, create your tags and make sure that they match the ones in Netvisor.

Please find instructions here on how to import your tags from Netvisor to Zevoy.

Activate the integration

  1. Start by logging in to Netvisor.

  2. On your company's page, hover over your company's name. Find API and identifiers (Ohjelmistorajapinta ja tunnisteet) in the drop-down and click it.

  3. Create the keys by clicking Create new API identifier (Luo uusi rajapintatunnus) and/or copy the integration keys to your clipboard.

  4. In the Zevoy Hub, under Settings, head over to the Export tab.

  5. Under Export type open Expenses and select Integration and Netvisor.

  6. Choose activate under Netvisor and add your User ID and API key and click Connect to Netvisor.

  7. All done!

Please note that you have to allow importing of bookkeeping materials to Netvisor for the integration to work. This can be done by setting your cursor over your company's name, going to Rights of interface recourses, from there to Import of bookkeeping material to Netvisor and allowing "Import of bookkeeping material to Netvisor" (Rajapintaresurssien käyttöoikeudet → Kirjanpitoaineiston tuonti Netvisoriin).

Export your expenses to Netvisor

Export from the Export page

  1. In the Zevoy Hub head over to Export.

  2. Choose the wanted timeframe for your Approved expenses.

  3. Click Export to Netvisor.

  4. You'll receive a success message when the expenses have been successfully exported!

Export from the Expenses page

  1. Go to the Expenses page in the Zevoy Hub.

  2. Under Submitted you'll find your expenses that need reviewing. Edit the expenses if needed and once they're checked, approve them either individually or by selecting them.

  3. Now you can create an export queue for yourself. Select the items you wish to mark for export under Approved and click Move to export queue. Selecting items will reveal the toolbar.
The export queue will help you keep track of which items are marked as ok for export, and makes reviewing your items throughout the month easier.

  4. Now you're ready to create exports! Under Export queue, select all expenses or select the ones you wish to export, and options for exporting will appear in the toolbar.

    1. Revise - move the selected items back to approved.

    2. Move to exported - don't want to generate any reports but wish to move the items to Exported? Choose Move to exported.

    3. Preview - generate previews and take a look at the file before exporting. This action won't change the export status of the items.

    4. Export - by clicking export, the select items will be sent directly to Netvisor.

  5. Click Export to Netvisor!

If the integration hasn't yet been activated, or it has been deactivated, you'll be prompted to add your Netvisor User ID and API key and connect the systems before you can send an export.

After a successful export, your expenses will be found in the section Financials → Bookkeeping reports (Taloushallinto → Kirjanpidon raportit).

Please make sure that you have a Netvisor plan that allows integrations.
